This new work was a finalist in the 2026 David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year Competition
This painting was created in early 2026 and entered into this year's David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year competition. It was shortlisted for the final in September at the Mall Galleries in London, where it was exhibited alongside other finalists. 100cm x 40cm plus frame, a handmade frame of natural dark brown, and a gilt slip.
